UPDATE: Truck plows into Willow Tree house

Police are investigating the incident where a semi-trailer smashed into a Willow Tree house late yesterday afternoon and have confirmed that no one was in the house at the time and also that there was no one behind the wheel of the semi.

An officer from Oxley Police District says it appears the semi was undergoing repairs prior to the incident and it rolled away from mechanics, and at this stage no charges have been laid but investigations are continuing.

Engineers will inspect the house to assess the extent of the structural damage today.
