Coronavirus Update: 31 March.
No new cases of the COVID 19 VIRUS were detected across the New England North West in the 24 hours to Monday night and Tamworth’s tally remains at 12 confirmed cases.
The Hunter New England Health district figures show Armidale, Glen Innes, Inverell and Tenterfield still have between 1 to 4 cases, as of monday night and Gunnedah, Gwydir, Moree, Uralla, Guyra, Narrabri and Walcha are still virus-free.
Figures show the entire health district saw just eight new cases, a rise from 200 cases to 208.
Eleven cases were reported in the HNEH area in the 24 hours to Sunday night, showing a slower spread of the infection and 9112 people have been tested for COVID-19 across the HNEH area with 2.28 per cent testing positive.
