The first Country Music Capital Top 20 chart for 2020 comes to you with last year’s #1, ‘Frozen Rabbit’ by Felicity Urquhart still hold the top spot after nine weeks on the chart. Gina Jeffreys sees the second single from her Beautiful Tangle’ album, ‘Do That’, move up to #2 and Adam Brand’s ‘Speed Of Life’ move down to #3. Two songs hit the top ten this week – ‘So Long So Long’ by Darlinghurst moves up four places to #7 and ‘Diamonds’ by Morgan Evans moves up six places to #9. Three new songs move into the chart – ‘She Gave Us The Song’ by Tom Curtain with Lee Kernaghan and Sara Storer (#13), ‘Memphis T-Shirt by Melanie Dyer (#19) and ‘Bitumen Cowboys’ by Rory Ellis (# 20). There’s three new Hit Picks too – ‘Summer’s Here’ by Fredbear, ‘Marijuana Australiana (Re-hashed) by The Bushwackers and ‘I Don’t Want to be In A Rock Band’ by Charlie Collins – many people will of course recognise her as Charlene Bailey, and her album ‘Snow Pine” was finalists for last year’s ARIA Country Album of the Year.
