Tom Curtain and his mates Lee Kernaghan and Sara Storer remain at the top of our chart for the second week, with ‘She Gave Us The Songs’ and ‘Hell To Hallelujah’ by Amber Lawrence sticks to the #2 spot. ‘Three Sons’ by Aleyce Simmonds and John Williamson moves up two place to #3, while ‘It Must Have Been The Wine’ by Della Harris moves from #13 to #7 and ‘Last Of The Riverboats’ by Brendan Smoother and The Bobkatz shoots up from #17 to #8 and the new Shane Nicholson single, ‘The High Price Of Surviving’ moves from #19 to #10 on its second week in the chart. Movements like these aren’t unusual after the Tamworth Country Music Festival as radio announcers may have heard the songs at a show and have gone home and played or programmed them into their playlists. ‘Get Drunk On Me’ by Southbound heads up the new entries this week slotting into #18 and Matt Scullion’s ‘Slanguage’ make it at #20 …. And maybe not before time!
