Country favourite Amber Lawrence takes over the #1 spot this week with the second single, ‘Heart’, from her latest album ‘Spark and Andrew Farriss is close behind after moving up three places to #2 with ‘Come Midnight’. Gina Jeffreys moves down one place to #3 with ‘Cash’ and Angus Gill takes up a top ten position with ‘Welcome To My Heart’. Two new songs make the top 20 – ‘Things I Leave Behind’ by Cornell & Carr (#18) and The Western Distributors’ ‘You Got Me’ steps into the #20 spot. News is that the band will be recording its second album soon – can’t wait – and they should be back at the Tamworth Country Music Festival next January, thus consolidating the mighty impression they made this year! ‘No Heartbreaks’ by Jetty Road dropped out (but a new single is ready to go) as did ‘Rusty Strings’ by Brad Cox.
