  • Tamworth Town and Country Club suspends all meetings and "Card & Games" days until further notice.

  • The National Servicemen of Australia Memorial Service on 28 March at the memorial near Tamworth Railway Station has been cancelled.

  • The Tamworth Regional Council Heritage Working Group has cancelled the Tamworth Regional Heritage Awards event along with the Heritage Festival activities planned

  • 2020 Tamworth Eisteddfod has been cancelled.

  • AFL suspends 2020 season.

  • CMC Rocks QLD 2020 has now been cancelled.

  • HALLSVILLE COUNTRY MARKETS & CAR BOOT SALE scheduled for 22 march has been cancelled.

  • CANCER COUNCIL'S "Stars of Tamworth - Dance for Cancer 2020" has been postponed and ticket sales are on hold.

  • The West Entertainment Group has cancelled all members bingo and raffles for the foreseeable future

  • The Services Group has cancelled members badge draws but bingo, raffles and entertainment will continue.

  • Tamworth's NAIDOC Week celebrations, planned for July, has been postponed.

  • The Independent Miniature Horse Registry Grand National Event and the 2020 Australian Stock Horse Society National Championships has been postponed.

  • The "Free Microchipping Day" for dogs and cats run by TRC in partnership with the Tamworth RSPCA and Tamworth TAFE has been cancelled.

  • TAMWORTH GREYHOUND CLUB has hold off all races including the "Family Fun Day/ Cup Day" scheduled 4 April.

  • The GREAT NUNDLE DOG RACE has been postponed until 25 October 2020.

  • SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB "Casino Royale Ball" has been postponed.

  • JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES "Circuit Assembly Meeting" has been cancelled.

  • The TRAVELLING FILM FESTIVAL TAMWORTH has been cancelled.

  • ST JOHN"S OP SHOP/ SHED will be temporarily closed.

  • TAMWORTH NEW VOGUE DANCE GROUP will not be holding their regular Wednesday and Saturday night dances until further notice.

  • FRIENDS OF NIOKA INC. has cancelled their April general meeting.

  • ST NICHOLAS "Catholic Debutante Ball" has been postponed.

  • TAMWORTH DAY VIEW CLUB cancelled all their meetings and outings for the next three months.

  • HARMONY DAY events planned for 21 March at the Tamworth City Library and Tamworth Regional Library are now cancelled.

  • TAMWORTH POWERSTATION MUSEUM will be closed from 27 March for the foreseeable future.

  • Tamworth Regional Council's "CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY" scheduled 19 March has been cancelled.

  • Netball NSW advised Tamworth's Monday and Thursday night competitions will be suspended until at least 2 May.

  • JACK WOOLASTON NINES scheduled 21 March has been cancelled.

  • 2020 GUNNEDAH SHOW is now cancelled as well as the COUNTRY MUSIC MUSTER scheduled for 24-29 March.

  • GUNNEDAH'S Autumn Market Day scheduled 21 March has now been cancelled.

  • RIDING FOR THE DISABLED TAMWORTH has cancelled their Thursday Rides and will not recommence until start of 2nd Term of School.

  • Group 4 the NSW Rugby League has ordered all pre-season competitions up to May be called off.

  • TAMWORTH HARNESS RACING CLUB’S race meeting listed for this Thursday 19th March is closed to the Public. Harness Racing will be televised as normal, the only persons entering the grounds are Club Officials and Harness Licenced persons with a horse participating in the meeting.

  • SHANNON’S ”Tamworth Motor Show” 2020 has been cancelled.

  • 2020 ARMIDALE Autumn Festival has been cancelled.

  • TAMWORTH CITY DANCE ACADEMY "Mid Year Competition and Showcase" has been postponed.

  • Rugby Australia announced that all community rugby competitions across the country will be postponed until at least the first week of May.

  • TAMWORTH LYMPHOEDEMA “Information Day” has been postponed.

  • Tamworth’s WESTPAC HELICOPTER/ 2020 SINGLE BUILBER’S “Recue Ball” has been postponed.

  • TED HINTZ " Memorial Service" scheduled 18 March has been postponed.

  • RSL NSW has cancelled all public Anzac Day commemoration services across the state.

  • TASTE TAMWORTH signature events has been cancelled, including the Laneway Pop-Up Bar, Taste in the Park, the Long Lunch and both High Tea in the Garden events

  • WILLOW TREE PUBLIC SCHOOL "Horse Sports Event" scheduled 20 March has been postponed.

  • BOGGOBRI DROVER'S CAMPFIRE scheduled 22-26 April has been cancelled.

  • Author SOPHIE HARDCASTLE'S visit to Tamworth Library scheduled 17 March has been cancelled.

  • NORTHWEST SCHOOLS SPORTS ASSOCIATION advises that scheduled trials/championships/ knockouts will not proceed. All zone/district, North West, NSWPSSA and NSWCHSSA activities will be temporarily ceased until further notice.

  • NUNDLE GO FOR GOLD 2020 FESTIVAL has been cancelled.

  • NUNDLE COUNTRY PICNIC has been postponed.

  • FARRER HIGH SCHOOL'S "Open Day" scheduled Wednesday, 18 March has been cancelled.

  • NSW SUPREME COURT temporarily suspends new jury trials from today in NSW due to COVID-19. Current jury trials will continue. Potential jurors with a summons to attend court should contact juror info line on 1300 780 199

  • DARK SKY AWAKENS FESTIVAL scheduled for 8-10 May in Coonabarabran has been cancelled.

  • Seasons of New England Expo 2020 has been cancelled including the New Englander Rail Experience scheduled for 27-29 March and the shuttles on 28 March.

  • TAMWORTH BUSINESS CHAMBER'S "Regional Business Summit" scheduled March 17-29 has been postponed until October this year.

  • WESTS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP has suspended the sales of tickets to both the March 21 Super Rugby match between the Waratahs and the Bulls and the May 9 NRL match between the Tigers and the Raiders at Scully Park.

  • The Super Rugby match between the Waratahs and the Bulls at Scully Park on March 21 has been cancelled as the 2020 Super Rugby season has been suspended at the conclusion of this weekend’s matches.

  • OXLEY HIGH SCHOOL P&C ”International Night 2020” scheduled March 27 has now been cancelled.

  • QUIRINDI HIGH SCHOOL "Camel Races & Markets" scheduled March 21 has been postponed until further notice.

  • The FORMULA GRAND PRIX was cancelled on Friday morning as well as a Robbie Williams concert in Melbourne to tie with the GP.

  • Major sporting leagues including the NRL and A-League games will go ahead as planned this weekend but from next week, games will be played behind closed doors.

  • The Sydney Royal Easter Show has been cancelled for the first time since the 1919 Spanish flu epidemic.

  • Vivid Sydney 2020 has been cancelled.
