Rally provides opportunity to get back on your bikes!

The October Long Weekend will see motorbike enthusiasts descend on the Country Music Capital for the inaugural National Thunder motorcycle rally, after organisers made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 event due to Covid-19.

With four huge days – October 1 to 4 - of bikes, music, food and exceptional entertainment, this brand new, and truly unique event, is open to individual riders, club members and organised groups representing all motorcycle manufacturer brands.

Tamworth Regional Council’s Event Manager Barry Harley said the city is excited to provide the opportunity for riders to get back on their bikes and onto the road after a difficult year.

The New South Wales Harley Davidson Owners Group (H.O.G) has indicated it intends to hold its state rally in conjunction with the National Thunder rally and AELEC proved its versatility and strengths as a rally venue when it hosted the hugely successful Harley Davidson National Rally in 2015.

Riders can register now at www.nationalthunder.com.au.
