Tamworth woman attacked by dog

A 44-year–old woman has been taken to hospital after a dog attack in Tamworth in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, March 4).

Two Ambulance NSW units were deployed to the injured woman in Angela Street just after midnight on Thursday and paramedics treated her for injuries to her legs and ankles.

Circumstances surrounding the incident, and the animal involved, are being investigated, but Ambulance NSW said a Triple Zero call was received at 12.18am for woman who had been set upon by a dog.
